# Sending Notifications (Org vs Platform)

Admins and Org Leads can send notifications. 

#### Where to configure:

1. Go to **Settings \> Notifications**
2. Choose one of the following options:  
     - **The Learnery Notifications (platform-wide)** (all users; use with caution)
     - **Organization notifications** (scoped to your org)

#### Steps to create:

1. Enter Title + Description
2. Choose a Time (participant time zones apply)
3. Select delivery methods:  
     - Email
     - SMS (additional fees may apply)
     - Toast (in-app banner)
     - Push Notification (mobile)
4. Set status:  
     - **Is Active** (on/off)
     - **Is Daily** (repeat daily)

**🎯 Tip:** You can tailor notifications to send to your users in certain countries, regions, time zones, or when particular course statuses have changed. See the “Search” dropdown menu.”

🛑 **Important:** If your notification is only for your org, use the *Organization \> Notifications* tab—not the global setting.
